主要致力于非编码RNA在干细胞的维持、诱导分化和重编程中的作用机理，以及非编码RNA在肿瘤生物学中的功能研究。作为课题负责人承担国家重点研发计划1项，国家自然科学基金1项，广东省科技计划1项。共发表相关领域研究文章及综述10余篇。
