Many medical experts gathered here, including Chief Physician Li Yongqiang from the Department of General Practice of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University, Chief Physician Ye Huiling from the Department of General Practice of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, Chief Physician Luo Jianwen from the Department of General Practice of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of South China University of Technology, Chief Physician Wang Xiaoyi from the Shayuan Community Health Service Center in Haizhu District, Guangzhou City, Deputy Chief Physician Liu Lingling from the Department of General Practice of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Associate Professor Wu Yu from the Department of Pathogen Biology and Biosafety of Sun Yat-sen School of Medicine, Associate Professor Sun Xi from the Department of Pathogen Biology and Biosafety of Sun Yat-sen School of Medicine, and Li Shaohui, the Director of the Nanshan Town Health Center in Sanshui District, Foshan City, and Tan Juan, the Deputy Director, etc. The line-up was quite powerful.
During the free clinic, the experts carefully inquired about the medical histories of the patients, meticulously examined the examination reports brought by the patients, patiently communicated with the patients, deeply understood their conditions, and then formulated reasonable suggestions and specific treatment plans for the patients. Meanwhile, the medical experts did not forget to pass on their skills and experience. They led some general practitioners from the Nanshan Town Health Center in Sanshui District to participate in the free clinic process together, effectively improving the medical level of grassroots doctors in this way. The free clinic site also provided multiple services such as blood pressure measurement, blood glucose monitoring and fingertip pulse oximetry detection. With their professional and considerate "zero-distance" medical services, the experts won the warm welcome and wide acclaim of the local people.
It happened to be the 120th anniversary of the birth of Professor Chen Xintao. The experts participating in the free clinic made a special trip to the Chuxin School to visit and study. Everyone said that they would inherit and carry forward the Xintao spirit, go deeper into the grassroots more often and go all out to contribute to improving the level of grassroots medical services.
This free clinic activity achieved a complete success. In the future, the experts will also establish a long-term cooperative relationship with the Nanshan Town Health Center in Sanshui District, Foshan City, regularly go deep among the people and carry out free clinic activities in various forms and through multiple channels, so that high-quality medical services can benefit the vast rural people.
